This was one of the best meals I've had in quite a while. We had the chicken enchiladas and the platous. Both were fantastic. We will definitely be back again. Decent tequila selection too! My only recommendation would be to get some ultra high end tequilas, like Clase Azul, and they should definitely have Casamigos tequila! Service was great, and our food came quickly. The decor is fantastic too.
I love casa amigos every time I go in. The staff is always super kind and the margaritas are incredible. Would definitely recommend adding the jalapeno syrup if you like a spicy marg!
The flautas are so yummy. The salad was super good, so good I stole my daughters leftover salad to add to my flautas. And the flan... omg the flan was gingerbread flan and my daughter who hates everything (except she also loved the salted chicken wings here, cooked perfect she says) went nuts on my dessert because of how delicious it was. Top notch Mexican food. I really wish I’d had the stomach room to try more of their dishes. I hope to get back here again if I make back to Medicine Hat. If I was local I’d be here indulging lots.
Casa Amigos Cantina is a downtown MH gem! Dare I say my favourite establishment in the city?! The owners and staff are beyond incredible—friendly, welcoming, and they truly make you feel at home. This locally owned spot has it all: amazing deals throughout the week, super tasty food that hits the spot every time, and margaritas that are dangerously good. Live music adds an extra layer of fun, and if you’re into a cold one, you can’t beat 4 PBRs. Whether you’re out for a casual night or a lively hangout, Casa Amigos is the place to be. Excellent margaritas, fresh delicious menu. Makes me want to go back to baja. I am working my way through the margarita menu, so far so good, haven’t found a bad one yet. Love the smoky mezcalrita and the pineapple coconut.
This place was awesome! Lots of flavor in the food, and it is filling as well. I had the enchiladas. Loved it! And the guacamole was excellent! The only thing I would suggest to them, is that they need to come around and offer to refill water more frequently. And we were also served by Bootstrap Bill Turner!
Hello to all medicine haters. I recently tried Casa Amigos cantina downtown on 3rd st,and I cannot say I have given five stars across the board for any restaurant. I have always drove by it and I always thought it was just a little Mexican shop that sold condiments Etc. My son took me there for lunch and I was taken in by the decor. Service was fast and the food was fabulous, I will definitely be a repeat customer.Hopefully next time I'll be able to catch a band.
